JEWELRY ORGINAL'S BY SARAH COGHEN

The idea of making bead jewelry was spontaneous for Sarah. It started with the fact that one day we were in a hobby shop where they also had accessories for making jewelry. Sarah loved these glass beads and wanted to try out what it was like to make her own jewelry. Sarah was happy with her jewelry making supplies. Then Sarah started making a lot of jewelry. And in such a spontaneous way jewelry was created. The jewelry is handmade by Sarah.

And so the store was born.

Simply because they have a pen holder.  ... although  most people may only write on laptops anymore, an S&J ART handbags can still hold a small laptop, a pen and a piece of paper... . The S&J ART handbag is e handbag that brings old times and new times together... .

Where does the story of S&J ART bag's begin?

Let S&J ART take you back to the year 1597... . ...and now imagine that the handbag you're holding now began to be crafted in 1597..., imagine you're strolling through those old alleys where your handbag is being made... .

And now S&J ART will take you to DE LAPJESMARKET IN UTRECHT. THE UTRECHT FABRIC MARKET is not only the largest,  but also the oldest fabric and textile market in the Netherlands, and it's story begins on may 9, 1597 year.

Utrecht's fabric market in S&J ART handbags. The Utrecht fabric market,  the centuries old fabric market that had existed in Utrecht since 1597, is now also featured in S&J ART handbags.  Experience the centuries old atmosphere of the fabric market in our bag's. ... it was here, at Utrecht's old fabric market,  that the idea for S&J ART bag's was born.

We recommend everyone visiting Utrecht, or anyone who lives here,  to visit the fabric market al least once. Stroll through the old streets,  see the variety of fabrics,  and see the people there. People here come with thier own ideas for creating something beautiful with the fabrics. It's wonderful to see the visitors leave the fabric market with happy faces,  carrying thier purchased fabrics. And afterward S&J ART can almost picture them working late into the evening at thier sewing machines,  surprising thier loved ones or others with something beautiful.

And the pearl of the Lapjesmarket in Utrecht seems so unnoticed and unseen, and still the pearl is there.  The small poem by Jan Engelman between the old walls from 1940. His poem seems written so long time ago and still his poem is so contemporary,  from 2026.

And imagine, it going on for centuries.  And without realizing it, or even pausing to consider the fact, the visitors and vendors are writing the history of the Utrecht fabric market. And whether, it's warm or cold, the people of the fabric market are there toegether to continue writing history.
